FAQS
Welcome JSP Training Services

Can everyone be hypnotised?
Yes. Bearing in mind that this a voluntary state and that no-one can be hypnotised against their will.

Will I be sent into a trance?
No. You will feel very relaxed but you will be in complete control and totally aware all the time.

How will I be hypnotised?
By merely the sound of my voice describing nice, pleasant scenes. You will become so relaxed that you actually slip into hypnosis – but you will not feel hypnotised, you will still hear everyday sounds.

So I am not asleep then?
No. You will just have a feeling of calmness, pleasantness and deep relaxation.

Will I be made to do anything silly?
No. You have to do absolutely nothing at all except to relax along with the sound of my voice.
And I can relax anyone!

Are there any side effects?
The only side effects are beneficial ones, such as increased calmness, confidence, self-assurance and optimism.

I'm on medication – does that matter and should I continue taking it?
Medication cannot adversely affect the therapy. You should continue taking it until advised by your medical practitioner that it is no longer necessary.

How long are the therapy sessions?
Allow around 45 minutes, although I do build in extra time that can be taken if needed. Nobody is rushed or constrained by time.

How often are the sessions?
A weekly interval is best, although this can be discussed and revised in consultation with myself.

If you have any questions to ask, please ring me.
I will be pleased to give you an open and honest answer to all your questions.
